What is a Home InspectionBy Izak Swanepoel - a day ago
What is a home inspection?
Home inspection is a visual assessment of the physical structure and mechanical systems of the house, including the roof, ceilings, walls, floors, windows and doors.
The inspector checks the functionality of large equipment, heating and air conditioning estimates, examined the plumbing and electrical systems, and perhaps even rummaging through the attic and basement.
The goal of home inspection is to discover the problems in the house itself. Inspectors will not give an opinion on the selling price and whether it's a good deal or not.
What's included in a home inspection report?
Our home inspection report is extensive and includes checklists, summaries, photos and notes. You can estimate the remaining life of large systems and equipment, such as roof, frame, paint and finishes.
Critical information will also include recommended repairs and replacements.
Our inspection is not a pass or fail exam. You are not required to make arrangements after a home inspection, although you may discover issues that lead to further negotiations with the seller. You will learn a lot about the house and gain confidence in the decision to move to your new address, or you will find out enough to continue the purchase.
